PEACE (Pastoral Evangelization And Children’s Education) is a Catholic mission foundation. This foundation provides basic and quality education for the marginalized students in southern India. There are more than 300 million children who do not have access to go to school because of their poverty and family background in India. PEACE is trying to encourage and provide an opportunity for the children to go to school and get basic education. Rich now, we are providing education for more than 2,000 children in our program. The Main goals of PEACE:

  • To bring happiness and hope to the marginalizedchildren through education;
  • To provide non-educational programs for theyouth, both boys and girls, such as mechanical and tailoring programs which help them to be self-supportive in their life; and
  • To provide pastoral care for the new coverts into our faith.
Rev. Anthony Boothali will be here to share his mission experience with us on the weekend of August 10/11. Whatever financial support that we can give for the programs will be greatly appreciat- ed. Please be generous in your contributions to the missions. Thank you!

Through RCIA you will have an opportunity to ask questions in a non-pressured environment along side others who are on the same journey, learning the fundamental beliefs and practices of the Catholic faith and what it means to live as a Catholic. Dispensation from Sunday Mass is discontinued. The Catholic faithful are asked to resume their full and active participation in the Eucharistic Liturgy through physical attendance at the Saturday Vigil Mass or Sunday Mass. Anyone who is frail or at risk due to advanced age or medical conditions is ALWAYS excused from this obligation. Caregivers, too, may have to use prudential judgment about attendance at Mass, carefully considering the risk factors involved.
